Committed to SafetyMeridien appoints a full-time, dedicated safety representative to each of its projects. Additionally, all project foreman are trained and experienced in the safe performance of their responsibilities, all company employees are instructed on their right to stop work any time they see an actual or perceived potential for injury or accident. Weekly company-wide safety meetings and daily tailgate and staff meetings are conducted on all projects to ensure a safe workplace.
Our company has grown thanks to the consumable natural resources that are provided by the earth. Because of this relationship, a deep respect for our environment exists. At no time will Meridien ever allow budgetary or time constraints to compromise its commitment to industry best practices environmentally.
On every project, Meridien assigns at least one Environmental Foreman who is trained in the identification and protection of sensitive resources and familiar with the standards and practices set forth by its clients and Federal, State and Local regulatory agencies to assure compliance with those environmental protection measures.
Though when completed, pipelines are often many hundreds of miles long, Meridien recognizes that the integrity of the line is measured one joint at a time. This is why we have invested heavily in equipment and people.
